Is your Lodge in need of an Organist? |
The Internet Lodge Organist
Today, Lodges that include members with the skill and ability to play the Organ at meetings, can consider themselves extremely fortunate. Indeed many Lodge's conduct some or all of there meetings without the benefit of live Musical accompaniment.
W.Bro. Peter Coates has provided the ideal solution for a Lodge which cannot find an Organist. The Internet Lodge Organist is a Web based program that controls the music being played at the meetings. It only needs a minimal specification personal computer or laptop with a sound card and speakers fitted. (Most systems these days have these as a default.) The system can be run direct from the Internet or downloaded to your own PC. The whole system fits on a 1.4mb diskette. It can be customised for your Lodge's specific musical needs.
Other than basic mouse usage and coordination no specific skills are required to operate the Internet Lodge Organist. The operator has complete control over the music to be played. Tracks can be faded in and out and the sound muted if required All tracks when terminated prematurely are faded out seamlessly and common tracks can be set to play-on-demand e.g. SMIB
The more experienced ritualist can select the tracks from descriptive buttons and play them on an ad hoc basis. Alternatively, playlist's with instructions based on the current agenda can be built to guide the less experienced member through the meeting.
