Rowans Hospice

| The Rowans' multi -professional team provides specialist palliative care within the hospice for people who live in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Palliative care is delivered to patients with varying illnesses which no longer respond to curative treatment. Their aim is to achieve the best quality of life for each patient by relieving physical symptoms; by offering emotional and spiritual support to patients, their families and friends; and by enabling each individual to live their remaining life as comfortably and fully as possible. |

| Naomi House is a children's hospice that provides a home-from-home environment for children and young people with life-limiting conditions that mean that they will not live to become adults. Situated just north of Winchester in Hampshire, they offer one-to-one respite, palliative, terminal and bereavement care and support to children and their families in central southern England. |

Countess of Brecknock Hospice

| The Countess of Brecknock Hospice was founded with the support of Macmillan Cancer Relief following the successful establishment of two Macmillan nurses, and became an independent charitable trust in April 1998. The hospice provides palliative medicine and terminal care and many patients are admitted for short term symptom control and then return home to have many months of improved quality of life, possibly before being re-admitted for terminal care. |

They care for patients who have diseases for which there is no cure and the emphasis of care is maximising the quality of life remaining. Most of our patients have cancer. We also care for those with other chronic life-limiting illnesses. |

The Elizabeth Foundation provide - nationwide and often without charge - parent centred services for babies and young children with a hearing loss and offers their families SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND ENCOURAGEMENT. |
